It’s Senior Farmer’s Market Voucher Nutrition Program time again! Beginning Monday, June 5, from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. (and every Monday in June), we will sign folks up for $50.00 in vouchers to spend on fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, and honey at the Farmer’s Market. Please bring proof of all income, residency (like a utility bill), and a photo ID to qualify. I will also be at the Fair Grove Senior Center every Thursday in June from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. if you want to sign up there. This and all of our programs are for those aged 60 and older. more

The Greenwood Community Club met at the Greenwood schoolhouse on Sunday, Apr. 16, 2023. Many members were unable to be with us and were missed. We had no meetings in Jan., Feb., or March due to weather or illness, so it was good to be together again. Baseball fans are being asked to step up to the plate to help local patients and score Springfield Cardinals game tickets. The Community Blood Center of the Ozarks, the sole supplier of blood, platelets, and plasma to patients at 44 area healthcare facilities, is asking everyone to team up to help the blood needs in their community by donating during the Bleed Red promotion at the upcoming blood drive in Seymour on Monday, June 5, sponsored by the Seymour Lions Club. more
