Marshfield’s Reunion Fest returns Saturday, July 1st at the Marshfield Community Center Reunion Field. The 12th annual event will begin at 5 p.m. and music will start at 5:30 p.m. through 11 p.m.

A Niangua woman was rescued without harm in the early hours of Monday morning amidst a storm that carried severe winds through Webster County. The Niangua Volunteer Fire Department received a call at 3:00 a.m. reporting that there was a tree uprooted from the storm that landed on the roof of a senior citizen housing structure.

Following an incident in the early morning of Jan. 29, Marshfield citizen Lane Barger faces two Class E Felonies of property damage and unlawful use of a weapon. He also faces an unclassified felony of armed criminal action and a Class B Felony of assault in the 1st degree.
