The Webster County Historical Society is set to host a fun-filled evening of trivia and tacos on Saturday, October at Son-Rise Christian Church, located at 673 Jump Rd. Doors will open at 5:15 p.m., with trivia games kicking off at 6:30 p.m.
Participants can enjoy a delicious menu featuring tacos, taco salads, soft drinks, tea, bottled water, and desserts available for purchase. The event will also feature exciting raffle and cash prizes, with winners required to be present to claim their rewards.
“This event is a fantastic way to engage with our community while supporting the Webster County Historical Museum,” said a spokesperson for the society. All proceeds from the evening will directly benefit the museum.
Teams of up to five members can register for the trivia competition. Registration in advance is required and must be completed by October 1. Participants will need to choose a name for their trivia team, designate a team captain, and select four numbers from 1 to 44.
“Don’t have a team? No problem! We’ll find a spot for you,” the spokesperson added.
To register, contact Carmelita at c.tieskotter@yahoo.com or call (417) 383-9538. Registration is also available at the museum from Tuesday to Friday, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., or at the society’s booth during Marshfield Harvest Days on September 20-21. The trivia fee is $10 per person, payable at the door by cash or check.
