The brothers of Webster #98 often hand out big checks, but soon there is another big check they would rather not be writing. Recent hailstorms, that affected so many, did considerable damage to the lodge hall roof, prompting the need for repairs.
“We are well past our deductible which is already high.” said Lodge Master Pat Blinzler.
“It would really sap us dry to have to meet the deductible, with other repairs being done,” Blinzler added, citing the purchase of a new A/C unit, to replace one that failed last fall and ongoing building improvements. “The breakfast is a chance for us to catch-up financially.”
