Fordland student a Baylor grad
WACO, Texas — Collin Cammeron Kensinger of Fordland earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor University following the spring semester. His concentration was sports sponsorship and sales, and he earned cum laude distinction.
Additionally, he was named to the spring honor roll at Baylor University. Kensinger was a student in Baylor’s Hankamer School of Business.
Baylor University conferred degrees on nearly 3,000 graduates during spring commencement exercises May 17-18, in the Ferrell Center on the Baylor campus. Students honored on the dean’s list are Baylor undergraduates with a minimum grade-point average of 3.7 while enrolled in a minimum of 12 semester hours.
Strafford student listed
GREENVILLE, Ill. — Moses Leininger, a junior at Greenville University, was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester.
Leininger hails from Strafford.
Midwestern state recognizes grad
WICHITA FALLS, Texas — Sarah Haley Kennedy of Rogersville earned her Bachelor of Science in Geosciences at Midwestern State University in May.
Kennedy graduated magna cum laude.
MSU Texas awarded degrees to 734 undergraduate and graduate students. Honor graduates receiving bachelor’s degrees included 43 summa cum laude, 85 magna cum laude, and 98 cum laude. Honor requirements are a grade point average of 3.9-4.0 for summa cum laude, 3.7-3.89 for magna cum laude, and 3.5-3.69 for cum laude. Additionally, 12 students completed the Redwine Honors Program.
Four locals on UCM list
WARRENSBURG — Four area students were named to the dean’s list at University of Central Missouri at the end of the spring semester.
From Marshfield, Shelby Christine Rouse and Sean E. Martin were listed. Rogersville honorees were Erica Shae McCann and Jarrett Benjamin Stiles.
The students earned a grade point average of 3.5 to 3.99.
SMSU grad named
CAPE GIRARDEAU — Courtney Maples of Marshfield is among Southeast Missouri State University’s spring 2019 graduates.
Maples graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Music Education with a major in music .
Missouri Gov. Michael L. Parson and Dr. Kevin Dickson, chair of the Southeast Department of Management and professor of management in the Harrison College of Business and Computing, delivered the commencement addresses.
Marshfieldian on NMSU honor roll
MARYVILLE — Kellie A. Keithley of Marshfield was named to the academic honor roll at Northwest Missouri State University for the spring semester.
To be included on the academic honor roll, a student must carry a minimum of 12 credit hours and attain a grade point average of 3.5 or above on a 4.0 scale.
Findlay lists honorees
FINDLAY — Melissa Toman, of Marshfield was named to the spring 2019 dean's list at the University of Findlay. To earn this achievement, a student must attain a grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
