On October 30, 2022 Officer Watson was patrolling Highway 60 east bound near Division when he observed a gray colored cargo van that had appeared to have run off the road. Officer Watson engaged his emergency lights and headed toward the front of the van. more

November 4, 2022, marked this year's fourth and final round of the Webster County Round Up Grants. Thanks to members of Webster Electric Co-Op who participate in the Round Up program. By rounding up your bill, Webster Electric gave $25,840 to help local non-profits by providing much-needed financial aid, from bulletproof vests, roofs and floors. The Webster County VFW Post 4101 purchased a flag retirement box, the first in the city of Marshfield, with the help of the Webster Electric Grant program. The VFW received $1,694 from Webster Electric, which helped cover the purchase and installment of the flag drop. more

The Clerk’s office, which includes Stan Whitehurst, Missy Pickel, Dee Lavery, and Sarah King encouraged both citizens and county employees to enter a photo they felt represented Webster County. more
