Winter Wonderland at ELC

Posted

On Dec. 8, the Parent's as Teachers (PAT) group organized their annual event: Winter Wonderland. The event had been converted as a drive-thru experience during COVID-19, but with restrictions lifted, this year all the fun was had indoors.

"Our Winter Wonderland we put on for our preschool and our PAT families... It's our biggest event of the whole year. We make it into a winter wonderland. We had over 12 crafts that parents could make with their children and take it home," beamed Marshfield School's Parent Educator Amy Wolff.

Wolff goes on to share the significance of this event.

"For some of our families, those are the only gifts the kids have to give. So it's a really sweet night and really neat for us to see the parents engaging in activities with their children. "

Kiddos who attended the event not only made crafts, but received snacks and a visit from Santa Claus.

"Santa always steals the show. We'd love seeing Santa and seeing the kids faces when Santa walks in is just amazing," laughed Wolff.
