Walk for Life is a fun, easy, non-athletic event to benefit Choices Pregnancy Center of Marshfield. This event is a family-friendly and appropriate for all age groups as the organization aims to raise $50,000 in support of their mission.
The walk will take place Saturday, May 13 at the First Baptist Church in Marshfield. The event will last from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. and walkers, joggers leashed pets and strollers are all welcome.
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m., with the Walk beginning at 9:00 a.m. Free refreshments will be provided.
The walk is a simple, two mile course which is non-competitive and can be completed individually or as apart of a team.
Teams of ten and under who raise $1,000 receive t-shirts, If your team has more than 10 people, your goal should be $100 more per person. Individual walkers raising $175 or more will also receive a t-shirt
Once you have met your minimum goal (and it's all received and registered online), each team member receives their free t-shirt.
There is a special prize for the team captain when you've reached your minimum $1,000 goal. Highest earning teams, first, second and third place winners.
