The track has been in full swing for the last few weeks. With many wins and records, we can only cover so much. The biggest track meet before districts and championships would be the Southern Baptist University meet on April 25. Let's see how the schools of Webster County faired.
Conway's Highlights from the event include:
Senior Gibby Beckler earned first place in javelin and fifth place in Shot Put.
Junior Dorothea Gantert earned third in High Jump.
Sophomore Dominick Zaffos broke the school record in an 800m dash with a time of 2:04.02.
Logan-Rogersville's own Junior Ryder Randles placed second in the 2000m run.
Marshfield highlights are as follows:
Junior Dayvion Harris earned third place in the 200m dash.
Junior Zach Mitchell earned second place in the 3200m run and broke his record with a new time of 9:50.72.
Marshfield would place fourth in the Boy's 4x100m relay and third in the 4x200m relay.
Sophomore Brayden Hicks earned fifth place in Long Jump and second place in Triple Jump.
Senior Travis Greenfield earned third place in Pole Vault.
Senior Bryant Bull would take second place in Javilen, breaking his record with a new distance of 48.65m.
Senior Emma Dinkins would take fifth place in the 100m dash and fourth in the 200m dash.
The Marshfield Girls team would place second in the 4x100m relay and fourth in the 4x200m relay.
Junior Grace Kimrey earned second place in High Jump.
Senior Bayley Simmons placed fourth in High Jump.
Junior Abigal McBride placed third in the Long and Triple Jump.
Junior Adyson Clark earned fourth in Shot Put.
