A season of broken records

With the track season officially done and all the numbers have been tallied, it is safe to say that the Marshfield track team had a genuinely record-breaking season.

"We had a fantastic season and continue to build one of the top track programs in southwest Missouri," said Roy Kaderly, head coach for the track team.

The following is a list of the students and the new records they set.

Lauren Luebbert in Girls Javelin with a distance of 39.61m (130'7 1/4")

Gracie Kimrey and Tilley Greenfield in Girls High Jump with a height of 1.62m (5'4")

Emma Dinkins, Cassie Fishel, Ruby Joiner, and Jordan Jung in the Girls 4x100 with a time of 49.01 seconds

Emma Dinkins, Cassie Fishel, Ruby Joiner, and Jordan Jung in the Girls 4x200 with a time of 1:44.48.

Bryant Bull in Boys Javelin with a distance of 56.11m (184'1")

Zach Mitchell in the 3200 Meter Run with a time of 9:37.13

Marcus Gritts in the 200 Meter Dash with a time of 22.64 seconds

Marcus Blackstock, Marcus Gritts, Dayvion Harris, and Tyce Jones in the Boys 4x100 with a time of 22.64 seconds

"These records continue to raise the standard of Marshfield track for the years to come. We return 10 of the 13 athletes that broke records this past season." he added, "we also medaled 15 of the 18 athletes we took to state this year, which is a program all-time high. We will be returning 12 of our state medalists as well."
