Square packs for festivities

The past weekend carried the air of festivity as Marshfield Square hosted Harvest Days. This year, people from all around the area gathered around as the square was filled with smells of food from different trucks and stands, tents, and trailers offering all kinds of wares. It was an excellent time for all that came.

"I believe it was very well attended," said the Event Organizer and Marshfield Chamber of Commerce Coordinator, Rachel Andrews. "We were very pleased with the turnout, vendor-wise as well as shoppers."

With over 80 vendors to shop from, folks saw a wide range of crafts, clothing, and, of course, food.

The festival also had plenty of entertainment to keep the spirits high, including bake-offs, a Punkin' Chunkin' contest, and even live music, with The JETZ and White Oak Revival taking the stage Friday night and Abundance Quartet and Issac Kenneth performing Saturday to close out the night.

"I think there was a good turnout for the entertainment. I was so happy that at 8:15 Friday night, there were still people on the square listening to White Oak Revival." said Andrews.

The Hartwell family and countless others put the festival together. Thanks to them, this festival has continued for so long and is a part of Marshfiled's identity.

"I'm so thankful that Marshfield turned up to the event," said Andrews. "Not just Marshfield, but the surrounding communities that showed up to support our vendors and this event. It is because of this I'm so incredibly thankful."
