OCC Shoeboxes is a project of Samaritan's Purse that started back in the 1990s that delivers shoeboxes filled with toys, hygiene items, and school supplies to children around the world. The project provides churches and ministries with evangelism and discipleship opportunities to reach children with the Gospel.
National Collection week is Nov. 13-20. You may come to the First Baptist Church at 1001 S. White Oak Rd in Marshfield and drop off your filled shoeboxes. We would appreciate it if you would have them at the church before Monday, Nov. 20. We would like to have the filled cartons ready to deliver to the Crossways Baptist Church in Springfield on Nov. 20.
The times and dates to drop off these boxes are:
Monday, Nov. 13—8 a.m. to Noon
Tuesday, Nov. 14—9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Wednesday, Nov. 15—9 a.m. to 11 a.m 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Thursday, Nov. 16—9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Friday, Nov. 17—9 a.m. to Noon
Saturday, Nov. 18—9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Sunday, Nov. 19—Noon to 3 p.m.
Monday, Nov. 20—8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
