Sally Ann Marlin

Sally Ann Marlin, 61, Conway, Missouri, the daughter of Bob and Mary Lou (Grigsby) Marlin, was born July 31, 1957, in Marshfield, Missouri, and departed this life for her heavenly home on May 31, 2019.

Sally was saved as a teenager, and was a member of Green Mountain Baptist Church. In 1975 she graduated from Marshfield High School.

She worked for a few years at Farmers Mutual. Sally was always interested in politics, starting at an early age. She worked for 20 years in the courthouse. Sally worked 12 years under Lois Minor as her deputy clerk. She later ran and served two terms as our Webster County Treasurer. After serving in office for many years, Sally returned to the family dairy farm.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ira and Ethel Marlin and Oren and Minnie Grigsby.

Sally was survived by her parents, Bob and Mary Lou Marlin; her brother, Roger Marlin and wife Dana; her sister, Karen Gorden and husband Brian, all of Conway, Missouri; two nephews, Ben and Cole Marlin; and a host of family and friends.

She will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing, and loving her.

Funeral services for Sally Ann Marlin were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 2, 2019, at Day Funeral Home, Marshfield, with burial in Marlin Cemetery, Conway. Visitation was from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Marlin Cemetery in care of the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at
