The Webster County University of Missouri Extension is offering a Barn / Garden Quilt Class on Saturday, December 6th, 2025, at 10 am. American barn quilts can be tracked back almost 300 years, to the arrival of immigrants from the central regions of Europe. Typically, these barn quilts are large, either 2’ or 4’ to be mounted to the side of a barn. The barn quilts offered in this class will be 2’ x 2’. Garden quilts are similar, but are 1’ x 1’, good for smaller sheds or indoor decorating. more
