The 2022 Salvation Army red kettle campaign was a success in Webster County. Thanks
to the countless volunteers who gave their time (in spite of the brutal weather!) during the
busy holiday season to this ministry, we were able to raise over $26,000.00, of which 85% will
stay right here in Webster County to help our friends and neighbors.
Every penny given helps those in need in our community with rent, utility, and
transportation assistance, as well as helping with food purchases for our food pantries, back to
school clothing purchases, lice kits and health and wellness needs and other needs in the
county. If you would like to contribute, and have not yet done so, you can mail your donation
to the attention of Darlene Lowder, Salvation Army, P.O. Box 485, Marshfield, MO 65706, or
drop it off to Darlene at the Marshfield location of Arvest Bank.
On behalf of the Webster County Salvation Army Service Unit, I want to thank all the
volunteers who coordinated the project and rang the bell for us, those who donated their coins
and bills, and a special thank you to Price Cutter in Marshfield and Seymour, Orscheln’s,
Walgreen’s, Walmart and Dollar General in Fordland for allowing us to place our buckets at
their locations.
Together we truly are “Doing the Most Good” in Webster County.
Chris Parker
Chair, Webster County Salvation Army Service Unit
