Fall traditions fill downtown

The Conway Community Days was a blast for all who went last weekend.

The festivities kicked off at 6 p.m. on Friday with the Little Miss and Mister Community Days contest.

Riley Cook and Reed Smith won after raising money around the community.

The Community Days Queen was Danica Coffey.

On Saturday, an extensive parade of classic cars, big trucks, ATVS, UTVs, bikes, horses, and floats showered the crowd with candy.

Marshfield’s The Jetz performed.

A Lego competition dazzled festivalgoers with their tedious designs.

Conway alum’ Taylor Cossey and his partner Hunter Powell won the cornhole tournament and pocketed $60 each after out tossing the competition.

Twenty turtles took part in the ever-popular Turtle Race, but Ruby Owens took home the rights of champion.

The Pig Scramble had children and adults alike diving in the dirt as they attempted to catch oiled pigs in a round pen. Winners are not awarded any ribbon or trophy. Instead, they take home the very pig they catch.

A beautiful show of fireworks concluded Community Days that night.
