Here is how our local teams fared in the Blue and Gold Tournament.
The unseeded Marshfield Blue Jays were 2 and out after losing to 7th seed West Plains in the first round 69-44 and fighting hard but coming up just short against Clever 37-34 in the second round.
Logan-Rogersville got the number two seed and took care of business to advance into the Blue Division Championship against (1) seed Springfield Kickapoo. This game is taking place as we go to press.
Rogersville beat Sparta in the first round 55-15. Beat (7) Springfield catholic 58-32 in the second round.
In the semifinals, the Wildcats sunk the Branson Pirates 54-34 to advance to the Championship.
Strafford got the #4 Seed in the Gold Division and Beat Miller in the first round 70-56 before falling in the second round to 5th Seeded Greenwood 69-49. Strafford then lost to Top Seeded Nixa 73-42. Nixa was upset in the second round by unseeded Bolivar 59-56.
