Attention high school sophomores and juniors! Webster Electric Cooperative is holding a writing competition to award two juniors with an all-expense paid trip to Washington, D.C. as part of the Youth Tour program (June 14-20, 2026) and three sophomores with an all-expense paid trip to Jefferson City, MO to attend the Cycle Leadership Conference (July 14-17, 2026). These competitions are open to all high school sophomores and juniors (including homeschool) within the Webster Electric service area.
The Youth Tour Program and Cycle Leadership Conference are packed full of fun, adventure, new friendships, and so much more. For a chance to win, each student must write and submit a 3 to 4 page essay on their respective topic. All qualifying essays will be entered into a drawing for a $100 Visa gift card!
Webster Electric has sponsored students on these trips for over 50 years. This past summer, Webster Electric proudly sponsored Cole Brown, Marshfield and Ashleigh Vestal, Niangua for the Youth Tour and Loren Bojko, Fordland and Roslyn Herron, Fordland for the Cycle Leadership Conference.
