Hometown pride will take center stage this spring as DEK of Hearts returns to Marshfield for a special concert on Saturday, May 2, at the Carl and Glessie Young Auditorium.
The show marks another homecoming of sorts for band member Kollin Bailey, who will perform in front of a hometown crowd in a venue filled with local supporters. Known for their energetic performances and heartfelt country sound, DEK of Hearts is expected to draw a strong turnout as fans gather to celebrate one of their own.
“I can’t wait for this show,” Bailey said. “We love Marshfield and we’ve already sold more than 50 percent of the tickets. Thanks for always cheering us on.”
The concert is scheduled to take place at the Carl and Glessie Young Auditorium, with doors opening ahead of the performance. In addition to showcasing live music, a portion of the ticket proceeds will benefit the Marshfield R-1 School District, making the event both an evening of entertainment and a way to give back locally.
DEK of Hearts feels an extra sense of pride when performing in Marshfield, since it’s the first town the band played in together when opening for Rhonda Vincent during a Missouri Cherry Blossom Festival event.
Tickets for the spring concert are available online at dekofhearts.com, and early purchase is encouraged as sales continue to move quickly.
