Sleep in Heavenly Peace, the Marshfield-based nonprofit dedicated to ensuring that no child sleeps without a bed, is seeking volunteers for its upcoming community build day. The event will take place on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 900 W. Washington St. in Marshfield.
Community members are invited to sign up and take part in constructing beds that will be delivered to local children and families in need. Organizers note that all public build events include hands-on opportunities for volunteers of all skill levels, with training and tools provided on site.
“Every bed we build represents a child in our community who will no longer have to sleep on the floor,” said local organizers, who encourage both individuals and groups to get involved. The Marshfield chapter also offers private, sponsor-led build days for businesses, churches, or organizations interested in team-building with an impact.
