Save the Date! JAG Dinner coming in February

Marshfield JAG students earned the Thankful Thursday spotlight from the Marshfield Area Chamber of Commerce earlier this year. Here is what the Webster County Historical Society shared about the JAG students: "The JAG program has been a tremendous help to the museum in so many ways. They have helped us setup our booth at Harvest days and the Christmas Festival. They have come to the museum and helped us setup and take down our Christmas decorations, organize files, setup displays and various other projects. The leadership and encouragement of their leader Shelly Jones and the willingness of the students to help in however needed is something we are very thankful for. It is a joy to be around this group of young people and their leader. They have helped us accomplish things we could not have without their help. Mark your calendars for a memorable evening of community and celebration! The third annual Made in Marshfield Celebrity Dinner, hosted by the local Jobs for America's Graduates (JAG) students, is scheduled for February 8, 2025. This popular event promises to be an exciting night for Marshfield residents, offering a chance to meet local celebrities and support the hardworking JAG students in the community.

Shelly Jones, JAG program supervisor, expressed her excitement about the upcoming dinner. “This is our third Annual Made in Marshfield Celebrity Dinner! Our JAG students are working hard to finalize the details, including sending out official invitations with links to reserve a table, but I wanted to give everyone the opportunity to mark their calendars,” she said.

Jones also highlighted the growing success of the program, noting that this year’s event will feature 47 JAG students, with 30 of them being newcomers to the program. "It’s a great chance to support these talented and dedicated young people as they prepare for their futures," she added.

The Made in Marshfield Celebrity Dinner is more than just a fundraiser—it’s an opportunity to meet the next generation of leaders and celebrate their achievements. The event will feature a mix of local celebrities, delicious food, and plenty of opportunities to connect with the community.
