Students at Logan-Rogersville welcomed a special guest this week as former art teacher Sandi Baker returned to campus to visit classrooms and share a favorite holiday lesson.
Baker, who taught art in the district for many years, led students through her well-known Santa silhouette drawing lesson, demonstrating the technique and guiding students as they created their own holiday artwork.
The visit gave students a hands-on art experience while also offering a chance to connect with a familiar figure from the school’s past. Teachers and students alike enjoyed the opportunity to learn from Baker and celebrate the season through creativity.
School officials said the visit was a meaningful reminder of the lasting connections educators build with students and the role the arts play in creating memorable classroom experiences.
