After months of construction, the new baseball field is ready for play. Logan-Rogersville baseball team will now enjoy their home games on a new turf. The Wildcats christened the field with a victory against William Chrisman School on Mar. 31, with a final score of 11-1.
Then, no joke, on Apr. 1, the Wildcats played home again in two games. The first was against Smithville, where L-R fell 4-10 but then took on Joplin in a dramatic turnaround and wholly dominated with a final score of 10-0.
As of writing this article, the L-R Varsity Wildcats are 7-1. This week they will take on Nixa, Cassville, and Forsyth. See the sports calendar for additional details.
