MISSOURI BEEF DAYS’ JUNIOR JACKPOT SHOW, RODEO, AND AG EXPO TO SHINE LIGHT ON AG INDUSTRY

BOLIVAR, MO – Three particular events from this year’s Missouri Beef Days lineup will each shine a different light on the area’s agriculture industry.

Even before Missouri Beef Days officially takes the stage in Bolivar May 4-11, an affiliated Junior Jackpot Show will showcase area youth and their animals competing for prizes.

Sponsored by Erickson Stock Farm, the free Junior Jackpot Show will take place at the Polk County Fairgrounds, 4530 S. 100th Rd, just southwest of Bolivar, this Saturday, April 13, beginning at 9:30 a.m.

Two other ag-related events will take place during the weeklong Missouri Beef Days festival in May.

On Thursday and Friday, May 9-10, the two-day Missouri Beef Days Rodeo and Rodeo Market returns to the Polk County Fairgrounds with exciting rodeo action, trick riding, entertaining rodeo clowns, food trucks, and a rodeo market where guests can survey a variety of western wares and other merchandise for sale.

Also on Friday, May 10, an ag expo will be held from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Diamond S Indoor Arena, 2029 E. Buffalo Street, Bolivar. The expo provides a great opportunity for those with an interest in ag-related industries such as cattle and farming to network and make helpful connections.
