Landowners, hunters and anyone interested in deer management are invited to take part in a free online webinar later this month.
The Missouri Department of Conservation and the National Deer Association will host "Hunting for Venison" on Tuesday, July 28, at 6 p.m. The Zoom program will cover deer hunting recruitment efforts, venison donation programs and other topics related to deer management. Participants will also have an opportunity to ask questions following the presentation.
The webinar is the second in a three-part Missouri deer management series being offered this year. The final session, "Wildlife Food Plots in Missouri," is scheduled for Aug. 25.
