Homesteaders, farmers, or those eager to learn the art of self-reliance, mark your calendars. The 2023 Ozarks Homestead Expo will take place at the Webster County Fairgrounds, located at 614 North Marshall Street, Marshfield on Aug. 25 and 26.
“We’re really excited to have some big names in our lineup of speakers and presenters this year,” said Cheryl Franklin, Founder and Organizer of Ozarks Homestead Expo. “The line up is a mix of new and returning guests.”
The lineup includes:
Rachael West, founder of Eating the Ozarks
Brandon Sheard of The Farmstead Meatsmith
Kevin and Sarah from Living Traditions Homestead
Shawn and Beth Dougherty of The Independent Farmstead
Joel Salatin from Polyface Farm, and many more.
The two-day event will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.It will offer various learning opportunities, including new ways of preserving food, foraging, and cheesemaking. A full schedule of the events can be found on the expo’s website, www.ozarkshomesteading.com, and be available on-site along with Food trucks and vendors.
“We have so much more this year,” said Franklin. “We have bigger tents, seating, sound, and food trucks. Everything is bigger this year because learning about self-sustaining and homesteading is so important.”

Tickets are on sale at the website and will be available at the gate. Prices are Adults ages 18 and up are $40, which covers both days. Ages 17 and below get in for free.
