Early Voting Underway in Webster County

With the November 3 general election approaching, Webster County voters can get a head start by voting early at the County Clerk’s office in the Marshfield courthouse.

County Clerk Stan Whitehurst says voters can stop by Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., or Saturday, October 31, from 8 a.m. until noon. No appointment is needed, but you must bring a photo ID.

“Over the past few years, we’ve seen an increase in the number of people who want to vote early,” Whitehurst said. “We do our best to make it fast and convenient.”

Whitehurst also reminds voters with disabilities that accommodations are available, including curbside voting for those who have difficulty entering the courthouse.

“We want everyone who wants to vote to be able to participate – even if it means we need to bring your ballot out to the curbside and have you vote in your car,” he said. “Everyone should have the chance to have their voice heard.”
