Thank you for answering the call

Posted

With it being the Fourth of July, I wanted to wish everyone a wonderful and safe holiday.

I also wanted to remind everyone that as we eat our hotdogs, spend time with the family, watch a baseball game or whatever way you choose to celebrate our nation’s birthday, remember those who cannot be here today—those living and deceased who serve our country.

I’m not just talking about those in the military. I’m also talking about those serving in law enforcement, fire protection, and medical fields. Many of them will not get to celebrate as they make sure the rest of us are safe, as many will go on without a care.

I want to thank them all from the bottom of my heart. You are making one of the most considerable sacrifices many would not make. Thank you for keeping us all safe.

If you know someone in the service, make sure you thank them; if it’s a family member or friend, tell them how much you love them and care about the sacrifices they make daily.

I hope everyone will be safe during the holiday.

Thank you for reading, and try to have a good rest of your shift.
