Thanks to the Wild Honey Boutique, helping those in need is not only more accessible but more fun too. Three months ago, they started making mystery bags. These bags could contain a baby onesie to three outfits to benefit foster children. All purchased bags are then dropped off at the Department of Family Services monthly.
Wild Honey Boutique's own Heather Capps recalls the first time she dropped off the clothing to DFS "A lady from DFS called me and asked what she wanted me to do with the clothing. Suppose she should donate to a specific family or give it to a donation closet. I told her I really did not know where the greater need was so I felt they needed to distribute the clothing the way that seems to fit."
The bags range from $5 to $25 and are labeled with what gender and type of clothing they contain. Though it is not where the generosity stops, it keeps flowing from the boutique. Families who shop there and show proof of being foster parents will get a discount. Capps hopes to keep donating to DFS and reminds everyone to be sweet to everyone, especially those in need. Wild Honey Boutique is located at 103 N Clay St in Marshfield. Stop by there and buy one of those mysterious bags of generosity.
