Ho, ho, ho and a Merry Christmas! Santa will make a stop in Marshfield ahead of the All-American Christmas parade on Saturday, Dec. 2.

The Marshfield Area Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for the big day which will include a Christmas market on the square before the parade, live entertainment, cookies and coca, and of course, Santa.

“We’re so excited to bring an even bigger Christmas celebration to Marshfield this year with a lot going on ahead of this year’s parade,” said Marshfield Chamber Coordinator Rachel Andrews. “We’ll have a Christmas market, entertainment, vendors and a lot of fun so be sure to put it on your schedule.”

Before the parade takes route, which will be the normal Christmas route down Washington Street and around the square, vendors will be set up around the square with crafts, baked goods, holiday shopping opportunities and more. The Old School Donut Shop will be in attendance in addition to local bakers and other Chamber partners. Chamber members are able to set up a booth for free, with the best decorated booth winning a free 2024 basic membership for the Chamber.

“We will have The JETS playing at 3 p.m. and at 4 p.m., True North Movement will perform. Then, at 4:30 p.m. we will start cookies and cocoa with Santa followed by the High School Honor Choir at 5 p.m. and the parade at 6 p.m,” she detailed.

Santa will be at the gazebo to welcome children. Parents are allowed to bring their cameras or phones to take photos of their children with Santa before moving to the next tent, which will offer cocoa and cookies.
