As the weather starts to warm up and people start cleaning up their years, the city of Marshfield has announced the dates of limb pick-up.
The schedule is as follows:
The city administration asks to have the limbs stacked with the cut end towards the street. Please keep the limbs off the road to not block or inconvenience traffic. You can start making the limb piles before the first start date, but no earlier than two weeks. Following these guidelines, it will help crews work quickly and efficiently.
Marshfield City Administrator Sam Rost also reminds everyone "This service is for normal maintenance, if a tree trimmer is hired to come in and remove a tree, they are required to take care of the brush, our service is not to replace or compete with private services for hire."
The pick-up crews will run for a week or until all areas of Marshfield have been cleared. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact the City Administration at 417-859-2352 during their operating hours, 8 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
