General Notice
Christian County is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
Christian County Government Plaza - Roadway, Grading, and Stormwater Improvements
All bids will be received at the office of Great River Engineering located at 2826 S. Ingram Mill Rd, Springfield, MO 65804 until 2:00 PM CST, Wednesday, May 8th, 2024. At that time, Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The Project includes the following Work:
The project will consist of mass and finish grading along with the construction of approximately 490 square yards of heavy-duty concrete pavement, 6,300 square yards of standard duty pavement (roadway, sidewalk and walking trails) and 11,100 square yards of asphalt roadway and parking lot with associated site related improvements. The construction of three stormwater detention basins, one being a permanent water feature, approximately 1,060 lineal feet of reinforced concrete pipe, 1,020 lineal feet of HDPP pipe, 11 curb inlets, 3 area inlets and 10 additional Nyloplast and concrete storm structures with associated site related improvements.

Obtaining the Bidding Documents
Bidding documents may be obtained via email or a USB flash drive in electronic format from Great River Engineering, 2826 S. Ingram Mill Road, Springfield, MO 65804 starting Wednesday, April 17th, 2024. A non-refundable cost of $75.00 will be charged for electronic bidding documents. Upon payment of the bidding documents fee and registration of bidder information, Great River Engineering will send interested bidders an email link to the construction documents or a USB Flash Drive via U.S. Mail to the address provided by the bidder. Interested bidders may also pick up the electronic bidding documents via USB Flash Drive at the address above. The Contractor is responsible for printing the documents. The Contractor must be a registered bidder on the Engineer's Plan Holder List to be eligible to bid on the project.

A VIRTUAL NON-MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE is scheduled for 10:00 AM CST, Monday, April 29, 2024. Meeting link will be emailed to plan holders prior to meeting.
The Christian County Administrative Services reserves the right to waive any informalities or minor irregularities, reject any and all bids which are incomplete, conditional, or obscure and accept or reject bid in whole or in part with or without cause. Neither Christian County Administrative Services nor its representatives shall be liable for any expenses incurred in connection with the preparation of a response to this bid.
