The Webster County Historical Society is pleased to announce the latest addition to their Museum Gift Shop, Tom Peters' "Ozark Jubilee Encyclopedia". The book contains over 400 pages of documented information and photographs about the nearly seven-year run of the live network country music television program produced in Springfield and aired throughout the country. The book "is designed to provide ready reference information about hte people, topics, history, and context surrounding the amazing emergence and success of the Ozark Jubilee". In the book, the square dance group, the Missouri Ramblers which was primarily a Marshfield group, namely Clarence and Lucille Jones, Georgia Mae Muse, Augie Blazer and others, is profiled. The book sells for $20 and is available at the Museum.
