Niangua High School’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter is hosting a Touch-A-Truck event Saturday, Aug. 12, at the high school.
This is a fun family-oriented event where kids can meet their hometown heroes who own and operate their favorite construction trucks, fire engines, police cars and other vehicles. According to Niangua FBLA sponsor Jennifer Callaway, this is their first year to organize the event.
“We just wanted something fun for the kids to do,” said Callaway. “We contacted local people in the community, such as the Niangua Fire Department and the Niangua Police Department. The Guardians of the Children will also be bringing their motorcycles for the kids to look at.”
Those interested in bringing their truck or vehicle to the event need to be at the Niangua High School by 8:30 a.m. For more information, contact Jennifer Callaway at 417-844-6402.
