Strafford man charged with three felonies

Keith Bridges, of Strafford, has been charged with three felonies; two counts of first-degree rape or attempted rape in the first degree, and one count of sodomy or attempted sodomy in the first degree. The following information comes from a probable cause statement by the Webster County Sheriff's Office.

A person visited the Sheriff's office earlier this year and told officers in detail about three incidents where Bridges forced himself upon them. The incidents occurred in October 2020, then in February and March 2021. After the investigation, officers arrested Bridges.

Currently, Bridges is out on bond and is expected to make his initial appearance in court before Judge Justin Evans on May 9. If convinced, Bridges would face a lifetime of supervision with electric monitoring.
