Webster Lodge #98 will be hosting its 25th Annual “Pulling for Kids” Truck and Tractor Pull Saturday June 14. The event will take place at the Webster County Fairgrounds, gates open at 5 p.m. The show begins at 7 p.m. and may continue through midnight. Worshipful Master Champ Herren expects a big crowd and more pullers this year. “There is a big pull in West Plains Friday, many of those folks who have traveled, will make a weekend of it and come pull at Marshfield too.”
Food will be served on site.
This year’s funds will again be distributed through direct donations made to the Backpack Programs of Marshfield and Niangua. Currently the funds raised pay 75% of the total Marshfield program and 90% of Niangua’s The lodge would like to further thank those who have sponsored the event, our loyal crowd, the pullers, Gary Verch of the Southwest Missouri Truck and Tractor Pulling Assn. and the brethren of Webster Lodge #98 and Strafford Lodge #608.
Gates will open at 5 p. m. and tickets are available for purchase from any lodge member in advance or at the gate for $10 per adult $5 children.
