Prickly Cactus celebrates 5 years of coffee and community

Posted

After five years of serving up delicious coffee and unique boutique finds, Prickly Cactus Coffee and Boutique in Marshfield is gearing up for a celebration that’s sure to delight longtime customers and newcomers alike. On Saturday, Feb. 1, the local favorite will host a special anniversary event from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. to mark the milestone.

Owner Jessica Rezak is excited to celebrate the shop’s half-decade of success, despite the challenges that come with running a business in a highly competitive market.

“Our customers and this community makes the difficulties worth it,” Rezak admits, reflecting on the experience of opening a brick and mortar coffee shop ahead of the boom in the local market. “So we look forward to celebrating the five years of support we’ve had with everyone. Our thank you will be to provide the first $500 of coffee for free to our customers on Saturday.”

The free coffee will be gifted per person, so be sure to mark your calendar to attend. With each order, one free item will be added. In previous years, Prickly Cactus has celebrated the same way, giving away hundreds and hundreds of dollars worth of free coffee to its customers.

Aside from the coffee, the anniversary event promises plenty of fun for attendees, with raffles and drawings throughout the day. The Prickly Cactus team has managed to carve out a loyal customer base, offering a combination of high-quality coffee and a carefully curated boutique selection that keeps people coming back.

The anniversary event isn’t just about free coffee and giveaways—it’s also a chance for Prickly Cactus to show its appreciation to the customers who have made the last five years possible.

"Honestly, the people who come in here are what keep us going. It’s a lot of work, but we’re proud to be a part of this community," Rezak says.

Whether you’re a regular or a first-time visitor, this Saturday’s celebration at Prickly Cactus Coffee and Boutique promises to be an event worth attending. From raffles to free coffee, there’s something for everyone—and the chance to celebrate five years of local business success.

“This event is a big thank you to the community for supporting us,” Rezak added. “We're still here, and that's something to celebrate.”

Don’t miss out—mark your calendar for this Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., and be sure to stop by to join the festivities.
