Fall Baseball
Fall baseball season has concluded. Both Conway and Fordland sent their teams to the Summit Conference Tournament.
The Conway Bears fell to Gainesville in the first round 3-5 in a game that went to nine innings.
Fordland fell to Mansfield 0-3.
Baseball for these schools will return in the spring.

Softball
A Battle of Webster County took place on the diamond on Tuesday, Oct. 3.
The Bluejays took the Wildcats by storm and departed Rogerville with a win 15-0.

The Wildcats picked up a couple of wins after their match against Marshfield.
On Friday, Oct. 6, the Cats defeated New Covenant Academy 10-7 at home.
On Saturday, Oct. 7, Logan-Rogersville defeated Hillcrest in a high-scoring 15-14 match. Later that day, they beat Waynesville 6-15.
The Lady Cats took on Hartville on Monday, Oct. 9 at home and won 14-3

Volleyball
On Tuesday, Oct. 3, the Lady Jays won their Battle for Webster County after sweeping the Lady Cats 3-0.
On Saturday, Oct. 7, the Jays flew to Lebanon to participate in Pink Fest. Marshfield tied with Helias Catholic, Carl Junction, and West Plains to start the day. Later, they picked up a win against the hosting Yellowjackets. In the end, the Jays lost to Carl Junction in their rematch 1-2, and to Hickman with the same score.
Marshfield faced Glendale on the road on Monday, Oct. 9.

The Indians hosted Fair Grove on Thursday, Oct. 5 and lost 0-3.
On Saturday, Oct. 7, the Indians competed in the 40th Annual Eldon Volleyball Tournament.
After tying with Fulton and Southern Boone, Strafford got a win against Eugene 2-0. Boonville was their next win, and the Lady Indian's fell to Capital City to end the weekend.

Soccer
The Logan-Rogersville Wildcats are 15-0 and ranked first in the state.
The Cats took a win at Monett on Tuesday, Oct. 3 with a score of 4-0.
On Thursday, Oct. 5, they defeated a talented Bolivar group in a close 2-1 match.

Tennis
The Lady Cats are the Class 1 District 9 Champions after defeating Forsyth 5-1 on Tuesday, Oct. 3, and Greenwood on Wednesday, Oct. 4.
Sectionals began on Monday, Oct. 9 in a match against College Heights Christian. They defeated them 5-3. They will now play St. Michael the Archangel in the quarterfinals. Check next week’s edition of The Marshfield Mail to see how they did.
