2022 Ozarks Homesteading Expo Recap

Posted

This past weekend the Webster County Fairgrounds was the go-to area for all things in the self-reliant lifestyle. The 2022 Ozarks Homestead Expo offered endless opportunities for audiences and visitors to learn new methods of raising animals, preserving their own food, blacksmithing, mending clothing, and more. The sights, sounds, and food alone were enough to attract people from all around the nation.

Vendors from all over were encouraged to come even as far as Texas. But the local vendors significantly benefited from this event. Laura Sweeton, the owner of Shepherd's Crook Coffee, shared her experience "We attended last year and have made several connections with people all over the country. Not only has it done well for not only our farm but our business too. We met the owner last year at the local farmers market we decided to sponsor last year, and since then, we have stayed in contact".

The event was truly a blast for anyone who wanted to learn a new skill or learn more about self-reliance. If you missed out on the event you can always visit the website www.ozarkshomesteading.com or the Facebook Page Ozarks Homesteading and find out more.
