Holiday Cheer in Webster County

This Saturday, Dec. 3, the holidays are in full swing in Webster County! Each city has planned a holiday themed parade with additional festivities.

So here is YOUR go-to guide for the local parades in Webster County.

Niangua will be kicking off at 11 a.m., starting at the Niangua school campus on 301 Rumsey St. Going from the school, the parade will travel through the town's main streets and end at the school. 

Conway's parade festivities will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the Conway Community Center with a chili meal. Line up begins at 12:30 p.m. and the parade begins at 1 p.m. Contact the Conway Lions Club at larrywdeckard@gmail.com for more details. 

Marshfield will continue its second annual parade at night with the theme of Light Up Marshfield. Located at 101 S Crittenden St, Marshfield, and starting at 1 p.m., there will be vendors and various activities leading up to the parade, which begins at 7 p.m. To sign up for a float or more details, contact the Marshfield Chamber of Commerce at 417-859-3925.

Strafford will celebrate its 12th parade downtown starting at 5 p.m. Their theme is Small Town Christmas Parade. After the parade, there will be a tree lighting. For details, call Grand Marshall John Berry at 417-844-0555.

Logan-Rogersville will have an EXTRA green theme this year: How the Grinch stole from Rogersville. Located at 101 E Front St, the parade will start at 5 p.m. followed by a tree lighting festivities at 5 p.m. by the big red caboose. For more details, call 417-753-7538.

Seymour will host a Hall-Mark Christmas on its cozy square at 123 W Market Street. The day starts at 10 a.m. and ends 6 p.m. The square will host vendors, food trucks, and a parade starting at noon.

Be sure to dress accordingly and come on out to celebrate the holidays as well as support your community.
