The Marshfield Area Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for a packed calendar of events, beginning with an Alive After Five Networking Event slotted for Thursday, Feb. 23.
“We have several of these networking events scheduled throughout the year,” said Chamber President Rachel Andrews. “The first one will be held at Marshfield Chevrolet and will be catered by local Mexican restaurant Las Cazuelas.”
Speaking at the event will be Croley Insurance, of Springfield, to discuss how Chamber partners can sign up for group health insurance. This event is open to the public as well and will allow folks to get acquainted with other local business leaders after the business day has concluded in a casual atmosphere.
“We’re really excited to offer these networking events and hope that we see a large turnout to support and learn more about our various Chamber partners,” Andrews added. “There is a small expense just so the Chamber can cover its costs, but anybody is welcome to come.”
Those interested in attending the event are asked to RSVP by Thursday, Feb. 16 by emailing admin@discovermarshfield.com. Admission is $15 and includes the catered dinner and a non-alcoholic beverage. For a $20 ticket, admission is included along with dinner, non-alcoholic beverages and one alcoholic beverage. Each additional alcoholic beverage may be purchased for $5 each.
The next networking event on the calendar is set for Thursday, May 11 and is a Coffee & Conversations event with more details to be released closer to that date.
