Strafford softball

Hayley Frank picked up her third all-state honor in softball in this, her senior year. Combined with four years of all-state selections in basketball, that brings her total to seven.

Though the Strafford softball girls were thwarted in their district final this year, there were plenty of postseason accolades to go around for a Lady Indians squad that had previously risen to two state titles.

Leading the pack was none other than two-time all-state shortstop selection Hayley Frank, who earned her third all-state nod in her senior year. Frank was also named to first team for both the all Class 1 District 8 and all Mid-Lakes Conference selections. Hayley's twin sister, catcher Kayley Frank, also made first team in both the district and conference in her final year behind the plate.

Juniors Emma Johnson and Logan Jones achieved the same feat, each taking first team in the district and conference, Johnson for her work at the mound and Jones in the outfield position.

Second-team honors in the district went to junior infielder Taylor Treat and junior outfielder Kaitlyn Vote. Both girls received the same recognition in the Mid-Lakes Conference. Freshman Emma Mullings was also selected to second team in the conference in the utility position.

All told, the Lady Indians garnered seven all-conference selections, six all-district picks, and one all-state honor.
