French to play for Owls

On April 23, Katie French, Marshfield High School senior, signed her commitment to attend and participate in both basketball and track at William Woods University in Fulton. She was joined at the signing table by her parents, Linda and Clay French, as well as grandmothers Frances Gigax and Phyllis Hansen. Providing support from behind were brother Kenneth, sister Samantha and brother Nathan, as well as William Woods head women's basketball coach Stan Chapla.

Bisby bound for Three Rivers

A ceremony was held April 23 for Marshfield senior Zoe Bisby, who signed her commitment to attend Three Rivers Community College in Poplar Bluff and play softball for the Lady Raiders. Zoe was flanked at the table by grandparents Mary Ann and Bobby Ankrom, as well as aunt Paula Ankrom, sister Zadie and parents Zula and Jason Bisby.
