Marshfield Christian School students, staff and parents gathered around the flag pole on the beautiful morning of Sept. 28 for See You at the Pole.

They also had three pastors in attendance that morning: Pastor Shawn and Pastor Brian from Marshfield Church of the Nazarene and Max Southern from Marshfield Assembly of God. Everybody saluted and said the Pledge of Allegiance to the Christian and American flags, and the Bible. Then everyone joined together and lifted their voices up to worship God, by singing “Lord I Need You.”

It was really good and the Holy Spirit was felt by students and adults gathered together. Next, four elementary students, eight high school students and five adults stood with the microphone and prayed. They lifted up students and teachers in all schools for safety and a good school year. Some prayed for our community leaders, pastors, churches and families. Others prayed for our Nation and that God would heal it, according to II Chronicles 7:14.

It’s exciting to be able to take part in the world wide gathering of See You at the Pole, and be a part of thousands of other students and adults all lifting up their voices to God about similar things around the same time. It’s really powerful!
