This Saturday morning, festival goers will have an additional breakfast option before taking in the attractions on the square. Webster Lodge is hosting the “Harvest Days Breakfast” from 7am to 11am at the Masonic Temple 256 East Washington. The brethren are serving two options, biscuits and gravy or sausage and pancakes, with coffee or tea for the ridiculously low price of $5. Dine in and take out options will be available. Proceeds from this fundraiser will go toward the masonic building fund to aid in finishing the costly roof repairs received from hail earlier this year. The brothers want to give a big “Thank You!” for the continuing support the community has shown.

The Webster County University of Missouri Extension is offering a Garden Quilt Class on October 3rd, 2024, at 9 am. American barn quilts can be tracked back almost 300 years, to the arrival of immigrants from the central regions of Europe. Typically, these barn quilts are large, either 2’ or 4’ to be mounted to the side of a barn. Garden quilts are similar, but are 1’ x 1’, good for smaller sheds or indoor decorating.
