A Marshfield Police Officer responded to a report of a stolen vehicle at a local business on Dec. 9. According to authorities, the victim reported that they had been shopping inside the business for a short time and returned to the parking lot to find their truck and personal property stolen. more

Whitetails Unlimited hosted a banquet and raffle event Saturday, Jan. 20 at the Ozarks Empire Fairgrounds to benefit Protect the Harvest. They hold classes and workshops year-round where readers can discover a wide range of skills, including how to feed cattle when food is scarce, can vegetables from gardens, or even paint a barn sign. more
Every year, the Missouri Farmers Care Foundation and Missouri 4-H collaborate to educate and raise public awareness of food insecurity in families. To bring that awareness, 4-H clubs all around the state participate in a competition called 4-H Feeding Missouri every spring. The competition includes food drives, collecting donations, and volunteering in local food pantries. Between community service and friendly competitions, this partnership helps combat hunger statewide. more
