Lloyd Walker and Annetta Jean Rose are celebrating 70 years of marriage with family.

They were married Jan. 25, 1948, at Potter Assembly of God Church by the Rev. M. R. Morris, Strafford.

To this union two children were born: son Jerry Lee Walker and wife Jean and daughter Linda Sue Michael and husband Ronald.

They have two grandchildren, Timothy A. and wife Mindy and Matthew L. and wife Trudy, as well as four great-grandsons.

Lloyd recently celebrated his 94th birthday Jan. 1. He enjoyed gardening. He is a World War II veteran, serving in the Pacific Theater, and is a recipient of the Purple Heart. He worked 28 years at Lily Loly’s.

Annetta enjoys genealogy and both enjoy family and church.
