Vaughn Russell Keeler

Vaughn Russell Keeler, Seymour, was born May 21, 1929, in Marshfield, Missouri, to Fred and Mattie (McCormick) Keeler. He departed this life on May 6, 2019, in Webco Manor, Marshfield, at the age of 89.

Vaughn had been employed at Marshfield Steel, and he served in the United States Army. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church and American Legion. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and visiting with family and friends. He could be found reading if he was not able to get outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Wanda; his parents; and 14 brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his son, Gale Keeler (Connie), Seymour; granddaughter, Stephanie Edwards (Jeffrey), Springfield; great-granddaughter, Madison Van Laningham; and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 9, 2019, at Marshfield Cemetery under the direction of Fraker Funeral Home, Inc.
