Grand old flag

The Rachel Donelson Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution presented a flag to Webster County Tuesday, Oct. 29. It is to be flown above the new Webster County Justice Center, after having first been flown over the U.S. Capitol on Sept. 11, 2019. Webster County Commissioners (from left) Randy Owens, Paul Ipock and Dale Fraker accept the flag from DAR members, including (from left) Marshfield resident Pam Cole, the chair of the DAR’s flag committee and the person who procured the special commemorative flag; Margaret Teague, honorary state regent to the DAR; Sally Bueno, honorary chapter regent for life; and Fran Black, registrar.
