Charlie David Eldridge II

Charlie David Eldridge II, 68, Marshfield, Missouri, son of Charles David and Martha Elaine (Dolezal) Eldridge, was born May 10, 1951, in Independence, Missouri, and departed this life for his heavenly home on May 18, 2019, at Cox South Hospital, Springfield, Missouri, with his loving family by his side.

On June 30, 1972, Charlie was united in marriage to Donna Pearce, and to this union four children were born.

Charlie was preceded in death by his father, Charles David Eldridge.

He is survived by his loving wife Donna of the home; his daughter, Sara Richardson and husband Kendall of Phillipsburg; three sons, Charles David Eldridge and wife Olga of Republic, Tim Eldridge, of Springfield, and Matthew Eldridge and wife Melaina of Marshfield; his mother, Martha Elaine Eldridge of Warrensburg; eight grandchildren, Allison, Alayna, Olivia, Isaac, Devon, Grayson, Abel, and Mia; a brother, Dale Eldridge and wife Melissa of Liberty; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Charlie David Eldridge will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at Day Funeral Home, Marshfield, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Diabetes Association or the Heart Association in care of the funeral home.

He loved going to car shows and looking at hot rods, so when you see one on the road, think of Charlie and how much he would have enjoyed seeing it. Online condolences may be made at www.dayfh.com.
